Meal Eighteen: Crispy Garlic Chicken Cutlets

Oh wow, this was delish!!!   Crispy Garlic Chicken Cutlets , (used panko instead of regular crumbs) mashed taters and sauteed spinach. What a GREAT meal.

Meal Twenty- Two: Spicy Sausage, Chicken and Bean Pot

Spicy Sausage, Chicken & Bean Pot was well loved comfort food as we head into winter.   Popular with the whole gang, chicken, sausage and plenty of flavor!

Meal Twenty One: Crunchy Fish

this was tagged "best version ever" by Tigger, despite the TREMENDOUS mess Eeyore makes when she cooks a little tipsy.    the standard sides of roasted potatoes and broccoli slaw were accompanied by a childhood friend of Owl's.  Birthday Whoopie Pie was also enjoyed.

Meal Twenty Seven: Philly Cheesesteak

These yummy sandwiches took some time but were well worth it!  Philly Cheesesteaks made from sirloin tips pounded thin, with onions and peppers.  Salads got delayed, so we enjoyed another day.  The season of eating is underway!

Meal Twenty Six: Prosciutto-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin

We were celebrating and the Bday Girl requested a previous success... Pork Tenderloin .  Eeyore made special Sauteed Spinach and Twice Baked Potatoes. What a great day! Happy Happy Love to our favorite Rabbit!

Meal Nineteen: Lasanga Sloppy Joes

Oh my.... our main dish was Lasagna Sloppy Joes, but the homemade Tater Tots were AMAZING. We figured an easier entree gave Eeyore plenty of time for a more complex side dish.  We are lucky she didn't discover "30 minutes of freezing time required" until she had some of her Tequila Sour....

Meal Eighteen: Crunchy Fish

The birthday girl wanted crispy Haddock.  Eeyore did her usual wonderful job and enhanced a bit, using the fry technique from the recent chicken nuggets.  Roasted potatoes and crunchy slaw completed the meal and a cheesy bread flower started us out. Cakes of many shapes and flavors were provided as our special girl wished. Yum!

Meal TwentyTwo: Skillet Carbonara Casserole

Skillet Carbonara Casserole was another crowd pleaser and we even had a guest diner... PJ joined us before he, Tigger and Piglet headed into town for a musical evening.  We used pancetta in addition to bacon and of course panko for our crumb topping... YUM!

Meal Twenty One: Salisbury Steak

Oh my goodness this was yummy!!  Salisbury Steak was just perfect and it was destined to be enjoyed with mashed potatoes and green peas. Used the bottle of Madeira from an earlier meal, rather than buying a bottle of port and we were very pleased with it all.

Meal Twenty: Crispy Garlic Chicken Cutlets

We love fried food!!!  This meal did not disappoint and even suggested improvements to future dinners....  Crispy Garlic Chicken Cutlets were delish! We modified the original instructions to use panko instead and the breading technique with panko and cornstarch has inspired Eeyore to try that method when Crispy Fish comes back around.  The crust held on great and was really tasty.  We were glad Piglet could be there early to help out too! We also enjoyed Roasted-Garlic Green Beans , for even more protection from vampires!  Spätzle rounded out our side items. A special birthday dessert for Rabbit completed a great meal.

Meal Nineteen: Reduced-Fat Stuffed Shells With Meat Sauce

With the holidays on the way, we know the eating and drinking will be in full force, so it seemed a good week for a return to the reducing... Reduced Fat Stuffed Shells with Meat Sauce ... low fat and amazing taste!  We all really enjoyed it.  In the interest of full disclosure, we used 8oz of beef.... 6 just looked like such a sad amount.  We also enjoyed Crispy Garlic Bread , cheesy style!

Meal Twenty: Prosciutto Wrapped Pork Tenderlion

Prosciutto Wrapped Pork Tenderloin     - we knew lots of poultry was coming soon, so the other white meat was the perfect choice.  This lovely tenderloin was wrapped with prosciutto and accented with an herby, lemon pan sauce. The pan sauce was also delicious  over our peas and Israeli couscous... a great dinner with our wonderful guest!  Fun start to Thanksgiving weekend and the whole holiday season.  Bring on the good eats.

Meal Nineteen: Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Cheeseburger Meatloaf   - meaty cheesy goodness and we added BACON!  It was an patriotic meal for Veteran's Day.  Supporting players included roasted potatoes and sauteed carrots with thyme - created on the spot by our talented team.

Meal Eighteen: Chicken Divan

Since we are just back from Montreal, a Parisian dish was the perfect choice ...  Chicken Divan   made us feel transported abroad on a cool November evening. Served over egg noodles, Eeyore might have wanted the sauce reduced  bit more... but the flavor was lovely.  Christoper Robin carefully avoided any broccoli on his plate!

Meal Seventeen: Panko Crusted Haddock

It was Frizz's Birthday Night - happy 29 sista'!   She chose our menu and it was a great one.  The always popular Panko Crusted Haddock and Cilantro Chile Aioli.  Yum Yum! (you can check March 15th for the recipes). We picked the side dishes -spaetzle with garlic cream sauce and spicy green beans.  We used boxed version rather than homemade and it was tasty and much less messy! Dory provided an gooey chocolate dessert... birthday celebration complete!
