Meal Six: Pasta Bar

Tis the season for variety... a little of this, a little of that.   12+ inches of snow the day before, rain the day after... weird.  In the spirit of flexibility, Pasta Bar!  While this meal looks simple on the surface, quick red sauce, pasta, toppings... it has quickly become known to the kitchen crew as "that meal with lots of dishes and pots!"  A challenge indeed.

Loved the pesto tortellini and ciabatta loaf from Trader Joes.. how lucky we are they are close by now!

Biggest fun was chatting about summer plans... Eeyore and Piglet are generously adding to our water enjoyment options- SuperMabel will have us giggling like fools!

Meal Seven : Pork Chops with Tomato Gravy

This meal had a few doubters at the start, but it was a big success.  Pork Chops with Tomato Gravy served over Cheese Grits ... southern goodness from a Yankee chef! The king kutter provided perfectly shredded cheese- as usual.

Meal Seventeen: Garlicky Pork Cutlets with Prosciutto, Lemon, and Sage

Repeat from many PD's ago ...   Garlicky Pork Cutlets with Prosciutto, Lemon, and Sage ...they came out perfectly thanks to a special early arrival of Piglet... some vacation time from work meant we got to enjoy his company all evening... sometimes Eeyore needs that support! Rounded out the meal with mashed taters and lima beans.  YUM!

Meal Five: Panko Crusted Haddock

Back by popular demand, the all time favorite ... Crunchy Fish!  The original recipe gets modified from cod to haddock and this sauce is fabulous.  Go for the regular mayo and make it the night before... YUM!  Squirts had a headache, so we missed him at the table, but saved him some dessert....
