Meal Twenty Three: Chicken Pot Pie

Final PD of 2012 and Eeyore picked her own challenge... Chicken Pot Pie was a strong end to another great year! Eeyore made a great crust ahead of time... true lard included.... yummy and flaky.

We used this recipe - originally for two, but it mutplied easily for our crew. Chicken neslted into the sauce very well!

Meal Seven : Pork Chops with Tomato Gravy

This meal had a few doubters at the start, but it was a big success. Pork Chops with Tomato Gravy served over Cheese Grits ... southern goodness from a Yankee chef! The king kutter provided perfectly shredded cheese- as usual.

Meal Three: Pasta Bar

Pasta Bar gives plenty of yummy options our different eaters. There was even a special Birthday cupcake for my little guy... Banana with Peanut Butter Frosting homemade by T!

Meal Seventeen: Mm-possible Cheeseburger Pie

This was a favorite of Tigger's growing up. His Grandma would make it for him and even gave me copy of the recipe with her added notes (more cheese ... sometimes I leave off the tomatoes...) . Tigger has been missing his grandpa recently as he refinishes his old drafting table, so a little homage was a good solution. Its more known as Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie today and some sauteed corn worked right along side. Hooray for childhood treats!
