Meal Thirteen: Steak Tips

We are back!!!  it was good to be together again.... we celebrated birthdays, new knees and returns from travel.  Summer in Maine is busy, but we do enjoy some time together.   July is Birthmonth for 50% of our crew, though some are more vocal about it than others.

Christopher Robin was the closest date, so he and Rabbit supplied Steak Tips from the Meathouse.  we repeated hobo potatoes from Independence day  and a classic Caesar made it complete.

Our CIA trained chefs turned an asset and recreated a classic family tradition with the Birthday Cookie.  Glitter icing and hand-drawn striper included.

Meal Seven : Pork Chops with Tomato Gravy

This meal had a few doubters at the start, but it was a big success.  Pork Chops with Tomato Gravy served over Cheese Grits ... southern goodness from a Yankee chef! The king kutter provided perfectly shredded cheese- as usual.

Meal Seventeen: Garlicky Pork Cutlets with Prosciutto, Lemon, and Sage

Repeat from many PD's ago ...   Garlicky Pork Cutlets with Prosciutto, Lemon, and Sage ...they came out perfectly thanks to a special early arrival of Piglet... some vacation time from work meant we got to enjoy his company all evening... sometimes Eeyore needs that support! Rounded out the meal with mashed taters and lima beans.  YUM!

Meal Five: Panko Crusted Haddock

Back by popular demand, the all time favorite ... Crunchy Fish!  The original recipe gets modified from cod to haddock and this sauce is fabulous.  Go for the regular mayo and make it the night before... YUM!  Squirts had a headache, so we missed him at the table, but saved him some dessert....
